What a Christmas Present!

Finding the best Christmas present is really a big headache. There are alot of things you need to consider to make someone happy with your gifts. This Christmas I received a USB Christmas tree from a good friend that she ordered online. This is pretty amazing gadget that will help me save energy everytime I do my work at night hehehe.. Just plug it into a spare USB port and it will lights up! Like an ordinary Christmas lights, it blinks and change color every seconds using neon colors including Red, Green, Blue and Cyan. Thanks to a dear friend to this dazzling gift! And everytime I light this up, it makes me want to sing a Christmas carol.

LG COOKIE!

LG KP500 Cookie touch screen phoneIt's not yet the end of the mobiles phones battle for this quarter because for the last minute, LG recognize the mobile war as they unveils their high-end full touch screen phone KP500 also known as LG COOKIE!

LG Cookie is the most affordable high-end full touch screen mobile in the market today as it cost P11,900 only (almost $250). This is the answer of LG to all the consumers who would like to experience a high quality touch screen technology at very affordable and reasonable price.

This mobile comes with a 3.0 inch wide screen and a slim size of 11mm thick, 8GB microSD storage, MP3 music, built-in 3 mega pixel camera and almost of the same features you can see and experience in a leading touch screen mobile like iPhone and Sony Ericsson XPERIA X1. The only thing this phone bothers me and makes me think twice to avail it is the unavailability of WiFi or 3G capability. :(

I am looking forward that LG will come up with the same mobile price with an added feature of WIFI or 3G this coming year. To view more features of LG Cookie, click HERE.

Twilight Fever!

Twilight movie feverWhile browsing some of the blogs earlier I noticed that even in the blogger's world the TWILIGHT fever is IN! I've read alot of personal reviews from bloggers out there and I agreed with all those positive writings about the movie coz I've watched it and to be honest, I love it! (i feel like am a teeny bopper again!) :)

Some says that it's better to read the book than watching it in the big screen because there's alot of scenes in the book that are not in the movie. Well my say is, they cannot compressed the entire book in a 2 hours movie ayt? The phasing of the movie is good, the actors and scenes are great, so bottom line is, TWILIGHT movie is a success!

To all the youngsters and young at hearts out there who haven't watch the movie, don't miss it coz you'll surely enjoy it! :)

melamine scare

After the big achievement of China hosting the 2008 Olympics, they're back on the news again, but not because of China phones smashed the the apple ipod in the market but because of the melamine scandal. It has been reported that China's milk and dairy products are contaminated with melamine, an industrial chemical made of laminated plastic usually used in making adhesives and glues which cause a big damage in our kidneys like kidney stones and kidney failure once taken. The report says that tens of thousands children and infants in China are in critical condition and worst, several have died after drinking contaminated milk.

It's really a big scandal for China to be tagged as the source of this melamine scare and labelling almost Chinese products with melamine content would not be a good idea for them, because this will definitely result a big downtrend in their market.

Consumers are now more cautious with the products they buy in the market especially brands that are made-in-china. Some other products don't have a labelled country but here's a little guide for you guys to make sure that you are buying the right brand.

You can determine if the product is made from China through the barcode. The first to three digits of the code will represent the country where the product been made.

Click HERE for the complete list of the country codes.

MORPH: can't wait to have this phone!

Nokia Research Center with Cambridge Nanoscience Centre of United Kingdom joined together to make a new concept for mobile phones. They are now developing the Morph concept technology which is a new idea for advance and future phones which uses nanotechnology *(science and technology of building electronic circuits and devices from single atoms and molecules)

They said that this Morph concept technology could cost less but have more functionality; small in size but more enhance features; futuristic but more stylish like wrapping around your wrist like a bracelet! I can't define exactly how surprisingly the features are and how ingenius this technology is! This future concept also displayed at The Museum of Modern Art (MoMA) in New York from February to May of this year.

Aren't you excited with this phone?! Well, I am tooo excited! So you better take a look at this video! Am sure, you'll be amazed! :)

Microsoft's Zune80

If Apple has iPod Classic and iPod Nano for their digital media, Microsoft has their own version and they called it Zune. It comes with different storage capacity like Zune4 with 4G, Zune8 with 8G, Zune16 with 16G, Zune80 with 80G and the latest one Zune120 with 120G which can holds up to 30,000 songs, 25,000 pictures, or 375 hours of video.

More gadget reviews says that Microsoft Zune is better than Apple iPod because of some useful and interesting features in Zune which are not available in iPod. Like the Wi-Fi for wireless synchronization or wireless file sharing, integrated FM radio tuner to gather tracks in the airwaves, preloaded games and customizable wallpaper background which will fits your mood.

Hopefully, Zune will hit ASIA as well because right now, Zune is only available in the US and Canada.
